Servicing diesel direct injection system
Replacing the O-ring on the injection timing device cover

  • ‒ Place a clean cloth beneath the injection pump.
  • ‒ → Unscrew cover bolts -1- using commercially available offset screwdriver for Torx socket bolts, e.g. Hazet 2115-T30.
  • ‒ Remove and clean cover -2-.
  • ‒ Replace O-ring -3- and attach cover using existing shims -4-.
