Login procedure or coding II
Login procedure or coding II
The Login procedure is required for zero compensation of several components.
Procedure
–  Connect vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system -VAS 5051 A- → Chapter and select vehicle system “03 - Brake electronics”. When doing this the ignition must be switched on.
   
Indicated on -VAS 5051 A-:
–  From list -1- select diagnostic function “11 - Login procedure” or “11 - Coding II”.

Indicated on -VAS 5051 A-:
1 - Enter code word
–  Use keypad -2- to enter code “40168” and confirm entry by touching Q key.
  Note
If display on -VAS 5051 A- reads “function unknown or function can not be performed at present” the login procedure or coding II were not successful. Repeat login procedure or coding II.
–  Terminate function “11 - Login procedure” or “11 - Coding II” by touching ← key.
–  Continue in function “04 - Basic setting” with the relevant display group.
t  Display Group 060: zero compensation of steering angle sender -G85- → Anchor.
t  Display Group 063: zero compensation of lateral acceleration sender -G200- → Anchor.
t  Display Group 066: zero compensation of brake pressure sender 1 -G201- and brake pressure sender 2 -G214- → Anchor
t  Display Group 069: zero compensation of longitudinal acceleration sender -G251- → Anchor.
