Performing zero compensation of longitudinal acceleration sender G251 (only vehicles with four-wheel drive) > < Bleeding brake system when brake fluid reservoir has been completely emptied
Switching off longitudinal acceleration senderG251 (only vehicles with four-wheel drive)
Switching off longitudinal acceleration sender -G251- (only vehicles with four-wheel drive)
t  The longitudinal acceleration sender -G251- can be switched off via “display group 040” when checking the brake system of a four-wheel drive vehicle on test rollers.
t  After completion of the check, the longitudinal acceleration sender -G251- must be reactivated by switching the ignition off and back on again.
Procedure
–  Connect vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system -VAS 5051 A- → Chapter and select vehicle system “03 - Brake electronics”. When doing this the ignition must be switched on.
   
Indicated on -VAS 5051 A-:
–  From list -1-, select function “04 - Basic setting”.

1 - Enter display group
–  Use keypad -2- to enter “040” for “display group number 040” and confirm by pressing the Q key.

A - Basic setting
B - Display group 40
l  The ABS warning lamp -K47- flashes.
The longitudinal acceleration sender -G251- is now deactivated.
–  Terminate function “04 - Basic setting” by pressing the key.
–  Select function “06 - End output” from list.
–  After completion of the check, the longitudinal acceleration sender -G251- must be reactivated by switching the ignition off and back on again.
