Fault detection in wiring test
t  Fault detection is based on evaluation of signals from corresponding sensors. As well as a wiring problem, a defective sensor may also be the cause of the fault. This possibility should however only be considered after ensuring that wiring is OK (refer to current flow diagram).
t  Fault locations can also be checked individually by way of menu item “SYS. TEST” before implementing entire wiring test to release menu item “TEST DRIVE” (e.g. following repair work).
Possible display:
   
  
FAULT:
GPS
COMPASS
REAR VOLT.
WH. SENSOR
REV. GEAR		 

–  Eliminate faults by taking the appropriate action.
–  Press ENTER key to confirm display to switch to main menu.
Indicated on display:
   
SERVICE MENU:
 
>WHEEL CALIB.
WIRING
TEST DRIVE
SYS. TEST
END		 

–  Select menu item “WIRING” again with Cursor keys.
–  Press ENTER key to confirm display. This causes checking of electrical connections to be repeated.
