Removing Note: If both gearbox supports have been removed, the gearbox must be supported as described. If only one of the gearbox supports has been removed, the jack does not have to be used to support the gearbox.

Note: The symbols on the adjustment plate indicate the required supports for the automatic gearbox 01V (the arrow points in the direction of travel).
Note: If gearbox support 3282 is not available, gearbox can be supported using engine and gearbox jack V.A.G 1383 A and universal support V.A.G 1359/2. |
Right gearbox support:
Note: With 6-cylinder TDI engines the right heat shield is not installed.

Left gearbox support:
Note: With 4 cylinder petrol engines the left heat shield is not installed.

D - gearbox mounting (conventional) H - hydraulic gearbox mounting Note: In hydraulic gearbox mounting -H- the positions -C- and -B- are omitted as the bolt. -G- is screwed directly into gearbox mounting. -G-.
