Testing double spark ignition system with two ignition coils (ADR engine)

Checking power supply



‒ Disconnect plug from output stage. ‒ → Connect diode test lamp V.A.G 1527 to contact 4a and engine ground. ‒ Switch on ignition, the diode test lamp should come on. ‒ If the diode test lamp does not light up, check the wiring between contact 4a and fuse -S32 according to the current flow diagram.
