Removing and installing parts of ABS system on rear axle (vehicles with four-wheel drive)
1 - Rear brake caliper
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
2 - Wheel hub
q   Removing and installing → Rep. Gr.42
3 - Flange bolt
Vehicle must be standing on the ground when tightening
q   Always renew
q   Tightening torque → Rep. Gr.42
4 - Brake disc
q   Always renew on both sides of axle
q   Detach brake caliper prior to removing
q   Thickness → Chapter
q   Allocation → Chapter
5 - Wheel bolt
Vehicle must be standing on the ground when tightening
q   Fitting wheels → Wheels and tyres; Rep. Gr.44
6 - Wheel bearing
q   Removing and installing → Rep. Gr.42
7 - Wheel bearing housing
q   Removing and installing → Rep. Gr.42
8 - Speed sensor
q   Left and right identical
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
q   Grease all round with lubricating paste -G 000 650- before fitting in wheel bearing housing
q   Push into wheel bearing housing as far as it will go.
q   Release speed sensor connector and unplug. Unclip speed sensor wiring.
9 - Hexagon socket head bolt
q   Tightening torques: 10 Nm
10 - Drive shaft with rotor
q   Check that rotor is not damaged or dirty.
q   If rotor is damaged, replace outer C.V. joint → Rep. Gr.42
q   As replacement part outer C.V. joint is supplied together with rotor.
11 - Ribbed bolt, 75 Nm
q   Always renew
