Always use new bolts → ETKA.
  Note
Always renew on both sides of axle.
Removing
–  Raise the vehicle.
–  Remove wheels.
–  Remove front brake pads → Chapter.
Do not leave brake caliper hanging from brake hose but secure it to bodywork using a suitable cable tie or wire. Take care that brake hose is not damaged by weight of brake components.
  WARNING
Do not apply brake when brake caliper is removed.
–  Remove bolts -5- on front brake carrier.
   

–  Detach front brake carrier.
   
–  Remove locating bolt -arrow- from brake disc, holding brake disc in position.
–  Remove brake disc.
  Note
Take care to keep the brake disc straight when taking it off the wheel hub.
Installing
Always use new bolts → ETKA.
Clean brake disc, wheel hub and contact surfaces before installing.
–  Fit brake disc onto wheel hub.
  Note
Take care to keep the brake disc straight when fitting it onto the wheel hub.
  A46-10018
–  Screw in locating bolt -arrow- and tighten.
–  Fit front brake carrier.
–  Fit bolts -5- on front brake carrier and tighten to specified torque.
  A46-10018

–  Install front brake pads → Chapter.
  Note
After each brake pad change firmly depress brake pedal several times with vehicle stationary, so that the brake pads are properly seated in their normal operating position.
–  Fit wheels.
Tightening torque for wheel bolts → Rep. gr.44
