Removing and installing digital sound package control unitJ525 (CAN)
Removing and installing digital sound package control unit -J525- (CAN)
The digital sound package control unit -J525- is located behind the luggage compartment side trim (left-side).
–  When renewing control unit, select „Replacement“ function for appropriate control unit in „Guided Fault Finding“.
To do so, use → Vehicle diagnostic tester.
–  Switch off all electrical equipment.
–  Remove ignition key.
Removing
–  Open left-side luggage compartment storage area.
   
–  Remove bolts -arrows- on digital sound package control unit -J525--1- and swivel it aside.
–  Release and unplug connector -2- at digital sound package control unit -J525--1-.
–  Take out digital sound package control unit -J525--1-.
Installing
–  Install in reverse sequence of removal.
Tightening torques → Chapter
  A91-10956
