Removing and installing headlight housing
Removing and installing headlight housing
   
Removing
–  Switch off ignition and take out ignition key.
–  Turn light switch to position „0“.
–  Remove lock carrier cover → Rep. gr.63.
–  Unplug electrical connector -2-.
–  Remove bolts -1, 4-.
–  Unscrew bolt -3- and detach adjuster from headlight housing.
–  Loosen bolts -arrows- on headlight housing a few turns.
–  Remove headlight -5- from body towards front.

Installing
l  Tightening torque → Chapter
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
–  When inserting headlight -2- in mounting -1-, make sure that guide rails on headlight engage in guides on mounting -arrows-.
l  Do not use force when inserting headlight in headlight mounting and make sure it engages smoothly.

–  When inserting headlight -4-, make sure that breather -3- for headlight is pushed evenly onto mounting -2- for breather hose -1- in direction of -arrow-.

–  Tighten bolts -1, 3, 4- and -arrows-.
–  Install lock carrier cover → Rep. gr.63.
