Vacuum Pump: Service and Repair

Before removing the vacuum pump, the fuel high pressure pump must be removed
The plenum chamber bulkhead does not have to be removed.
Removing
The vacuum pump is installed in the engine compartment facing the rear - arrow -.
CAUTION!
The fuel line is pressurized, do not disconnect!

Remove engine covers carefully from the retaining pins, one after another.
The vacuum pump is installed in the engine compartment on the right side facing the rear.

Disconnect fuel high pressure pump connector - 1 -.

Remove electric line from bracket - arrow -.
