‹› The shut off valve on the ATF filler system F/CVT transmission (VAS 5162) must be closed.

Loosen the quick release screws - 2 - and - 3 - and remove the rear noise insulation.

Place the old oil collecting and extracting device (VAG 1782) beneath the transmission.
CAUTION!
Wear eye protection.

Remove the ATF drain plug - A - using the triple square socket driver (3357) and drain ATF.
