Pry out seal with extractor lever VW 681.
-
Drive in seal to 2 mm (0.08 in.) below inner edge of cover using press support 30-506b and 30-505.

Install flanged shaft.

Check final drive oil level, and top up if necessary.

Attach driveshaft.
-
Tightening torque: 55 Nm (41 ft lb)
