Remove bracket from final drive (arrow -C-).

Unscrew cover from final drive and remove.

A = M8/M10 bolt.
-
Press off sleeve.
-
Remove small circlip.
-
Press out flange.
-
Pry out oil seal using VW 681.
Only if also replacing grooved ball bearing:
-
Remove large circlip.
-
Press out grooved ball bearing.
