Loosen bolts -3- and nuts -2-, and remove spacers -6-.

Note:

When installing, re-install spacers -6- in their original positions. Spacers -7- and -8- remain in the vehicle.

- 

Fully remove bolts -3- with washers -4-, and nuts -2- with washers -1-.

- 

Cut open tie wraps as necessary.

- 

Lift convertible top frame out of vehicle (two technicians required).

- 

Cover top edge of partition panel (arrow) with adhesive tape to prevent damage to paint.

- 

Place wooden beam (or equivalent) across vehicle onto top edges of partition panels as shown.  Third technician required.

- 

Place rear of brackets -1- onto wooden beam on both sides.

Notes:

Two technicians must hold convertible top horizontal when disconnecting hydraulic hoses from one or both lower hydraulic cylinders.
The wooden beam must be long enough to support the rear of the brackets.
