Correct gap dimension of rear lid by moving striker.

Tighten down screws of striker again.

Caution!

Striker must not brush against rear lid lock.

Adjustment of rear window:

Prerequisite:

Trunk lid is correctly adjusted.

Close trunk lid and open rear window.

Slacken screw of hinge bracket for rear window (1) on rear
window hinge on left and right so that hinge bracket can still be
moved.

Using special tool 41 6 250 (adjustment aid), align shaft of hinge
bracket of rear window (2) parallel to shaft of hinge bracket of rear
lid (3).

If the hinge shafts for the rear lid and window are not parallel, the
rear window may be subjected to tension when closed!

This will result in poor closing and opening comfort.

Tighten screws down again.

Tightening torque,

refer to Technical Data 41 62 5AZ.
