Setting throttles 3 and 4:
Place dial gauge plate (1) on throttle body of cylinders 3 and 4.
Fork-shaped shim at adjusting screw between throttle bodies 2
and 3 remains inserted.
Tighten knurled screw (2) hand-tight.
Screw in adjusting screws (1) between throttle bodies 3 and 4
until it is possible to insert fork-shaped shim between locking
washer of spring bolt and throttle lever.
Work with care to avoid deforming the throttle lever.
Insert fork-shaped shim between locking washer of spring bolt and
throttle lever.
Note:
Insert shim so that there is a sufficient gap to adjoining
components when throttle is closed. To prevent the
measurement result from being distorted, it is essential to
ensure that the shim can move freely.
Turn adjusting screws back (end of adjusting screw flush with
thread insert).
Note:
Throttles 3 and 4 are thus now disengaged from each other.
Throttle 3 can be opened a little without throttle 4 being
moved and vice versa. When throttle 3 is opened slightly,
throttles 1 and 2 are not moved and vice versa. Check
disengagement while observing dial gauges and/or throttle
levers.
