Removing and installing/replacing intercooler
(M67)
Remove and install fan cowl,
refer to 17 11 031.
Remove front splash guard.
Caution!
If the charge air hoses are not fitted without grease and dry,
this will result in supercharger failure.
Fit charge air hoses without grease and dry.
Unfasten hose clip (1).
Detach pressure hose (2) and lay to one side.
Release hose clamps (3).
Disconnect pressure hose (4).
Installation:
Reinstall hose clamps in same position.
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 11 65 10AZ.
Release hose clamps (1).
Disconnect pressure hose (2).
Release hose clamp (3).
Detach pressure hose (4) and lay to one side.
Installation:
Reinstall hose clamps in same position.
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 11 65 10AZ.
