Removing and installing/replacing intercooler
(M57T2)
Remove underbody protection
If active front steering is fitted: Remove fan cowl
Important!
Coat sealing rings of quick-connect couplings with antiseize
agent.
Pressure pipes cannot be fitted without antiseize agent.
Remove intercooler cover.
(Picture shows right bolts)
Unlock quick-connect couplings (1) and detach charge-air hoses.
Remove intercooler.
Installation:
Charge-air hoses must audibly snap into place.
Coat sealing rings of charge-air hoses with antiseize agent.
Pressure pipes cannot be fitted without antiseize agent.
