Radiator Cooling Fan Motor: Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures
Test E: Low Speed OK, No High Speed Both Fans
1. With the Ignition Switch in RUN, measure the voltage to ground at terminal 2 of Coolant Fan Relay 2 harness connector and terminals 2 and 1 of
Coolant Fan Relay 3 harness connector.
^ If battery voltage is measured at all terminals, go to step 2.
^ If battery voltage is not measured at one or more terminals, repair associated circuit for an open.
2. Check circuit 536 for an open or short to battery voltage.
^ If circuit 536 is OK, refer to PCM Replacement Check.
^ If circuit 536 is not OK, repair/replace as necessary.
