6. Remove the left instrument panel side trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Side Trim Panel Replacement (See: Body and Frame/Interior
Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Instrument Panel Side Trim Panel Replacement).
7. Remove the left front side door sill plate. Refer to Front Side Door Sill Trim Plate Replacement (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding /
Trim/Scuff Plate/Service and Repair/Front Side Door Sill Trim Plate Replacement).
8. Pull the carpet back to expose the park brake cable.
9. Release the front park brake cable pass through grommet (1) from the floor panel.
10. Disconnect the electrical connector from the park brake indicator switch.
11. Remove the park brake indicator switch wiring harness retainer from the park brake pedal assembly and position the harness aside.
12. Remove the park brake lever bolt (1).
13. Remove the park brake lever nuts (1).
