REMOVAL PROCEDURE
Release Cable Replacement: Rear Compartment Lid - Removal Procedure
1. Remove the left front seat.
2. Remove the left body hinge pillar trim panel.
3. Remove the left front and rear side door sill trim plates.
4. Remove the left center pillar lower trim panel.
5. Disengage the front retaining clips (2) by raising the rear seat cushion (1) at the front edge.
6. Pull the rear seat cushion (1) forward in order to remove the cushion from the vehicle.
Release Cable Replacement: Rear Compartment Lid - Removal Procedure
7. Remove the full width or the left folding rear seat back cushion.
8. Remove the following components from the vehicle if equipped with folding seats:

The plastic retainers

The left rear seat back trim panel
9. Remove the left front seat belt (1) lower anchor bolt.
