Prizm L4-108 1.8L DOHC VIN 8 MFI (1998)
1. Install the pedal assembly bracket onto the clutch master cylinder studs.
2. Loosely install the clutch master cylinder mounting nuts.
3. Install the pedal (9) assembly bracket-to-instrument panel bolts.

Tighten the clutch master cylinder mounting nuts to 12 Nm (106 inch lbs.).

Tighten the pedal assembly bracket-to-instrument panel bolt to 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.).
NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
4. Connect the CPP switch electrical connector.
5. Install the clevis clip (1) and the pin.
6. Install the clutch pedal return spring.
7. Install the DRL mounting bracket. Refer to DRL Control Module Replacement.
8. Install one screw and the left air duct.
9. Install the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement.
10. Connect the negative battery cable.
