6. Using a pin punch of the appropriate size, tap the brake pad retaining pin out of caliper. Remove retaining pin using pin punch until retaining pin
snap ring is past outboard side of brake caliper assembly.
WARNING: Hold anti-rattle spring in place while removing brake pad retaining pin from caliper. If anti-rattle spring is not held in place
during removal of brake pad retaining pin anti-rattle spring may fly off caliper causing possible injury.
7. Pull the brake pad retaining pin out of the caliper. Then remove the anti-rattle spring from the caliper. Check condition of sleeves and retaining
pins, replace if retaining pins are corroded, or sleeves are worn or damaged.
