Detach the speed control cable. - Disconnect the cable from the throttle lever.
- Detach the cable from the bracket.

Disconnect the air intake temperature sensor electrical connector. | | | -
Detach the speed control cable from the securing clip. | | | -
Disconnect the speed control actuator electrical connector. | | | -
Remove the speed control actuator bolt. | | | -
Detach the speed control actuator. | | | -
Remove the speed control cable cap from the speed control actuator. - Depress and hold the locking clip.
- Turn the cap counterclockwise.

Remove the speed control cable from the speed control actuator pulley. - Release the cable locking spring.
- Push the cable end out of the pulley slot.

To install, reverse the removal procedure. | | |
