Press bearing out of valve housing using pinion seal replacer tool No. T88P-3504-MH and handle tool No. Y87P-3504-D or equivalent, Fig. 5.

Using outer box torque adapter tool No. T88C-3504-CH, rotate rack bushing until hooked end of retaining wire is aligned with slot in steering gear
housing, Fig. 6.

Pry retaining wire from bushing hole.

Rotate bushing and remove retaining wire, Fig. 7.
20.
Remove rack from right side of steering gear.
21.
Remove O-ring and seal using rack inner seal remover tool T87C-3504-A or equivalent.
