1. 

   WARNING:As the spring is under extreme tension care should be taken at all times. Failure to follow this instruction may result in personal injury.
   Partially compress the spring.

2. Disassemble the strut and spring assembly.
   1. Remove the top mount retaining clip.
   2. Remove the top mount.
   3. Remove the spring seat.
   4. Remove the suspension strut.
   5. Remove the bump stop.
   6. Remove the boot.
   7. Remove the dust cover.

   NOTE:Make sure that the spring ends butt correctly against the upper and lower spring seats.
   To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.
