Accessory Drive - Accessory Drive Belt—1.8L Endura-DI (Lynx) Diesel Fiesta 1996 (08/1995-02/2002)
Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Section  414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables.

  1. Detach the coolant expansion tank and position it to one side.
    1. Remove the coolant expansion tank retaining bolt.
    1. Detach the coolant expansion tank.
    1. Detach the coolant expansion tank and position it to one side.

  1. Remove the accessory drive belt.
    1. Rotate the accessory drive belt tensioner clockwise.
    1. Remove the accessory drive belt.

Installation

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Make sure the accessory drive belt is correctly located on all pulleys.
    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  1. Initialize the door window motors. For additional information, refer to Section  501-11A Glass, Frames and Mechanisms / 501-11B Glass, Frames and Mechanisms.
