1. Remove the affected third row backrest. For additional information, refer to Seat Backrest - Third Row  See: Removal and Replacement/Rear

Seat/Seat Backrest - Third Row.

2. Pull up on the head restraint, push the head restraint guide button in and remove the head restraint.

3. Invert the backrest trim cover and remove 2 rows of 3 hog rings.

4. NOTE: Head restraint guide with release button goes on the LH side.

Release 2 tabs on each head restraint guide and remove.

5. Remove the backrest trim cover.

Pull the strap through the trim cover.

6. Remove the backrest foam pad.

7. Remove the bushing.

8. To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.
