Remove the camshafts. For additional information, refer to Camshafts in this section. | | -
Remove the ignition coil and the condenser. | | -
Attach the special tools. - Apply compressed air to the cylinder at 7 to 10 bar.

Remove the valve spring using the special tool. - Compress the valve springs.
- Remove the valve collets, valve spring retainers and the valve springs.

Remove the valve stem seal using the special tool. | | -
Repeat the previous steps for all valves. | Installation | -
Push the valve stem seal assembly sleeve onto the valve stem. | | -
CAUTION:The valve stem seals for the inlet valves are green, and those for the exhaust valves are brown. Fit the valve stem oil seal. - Lubricate the valve stem and valve stem seal lip with engine oil .
- Push the valve stem seal onto the valve stem.

Install the valve spring and valve spring retainer. - Tension the valve springs using the special tool and pull the valve stem seal assembly sleeve from the valve stem.
- Insert the valve collets using the special tool.

Repeat the previous steps for all valves. | | -
Detach the special tools. | | -
Install the ignition coil and the condenser. | | -
