Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Remove the floor console. For additional information, refer to Section  501-12 Instrument Panel and Console.

  1. Disconnect the overdrive (O/D) switch electrical connector (selector lever assembly removed shown).

  1. Remove the selector lever knob.
    • Remove the screw.
    • Pull off the knob.

Installation
  1. Install the selector lever knob.
    • Position the knob.
    • Install the screw.

  1. Connect the O/D switch electrical connector (selector lever assembly removed shown).
  1. Install the floor console. For additional information, refer to Section  501-12 Instrument Panel and Console.
