Remover/Installer, Coolant Hose Clamp

1. Drain the cooling system.
   For additional information, refer to: Cooling System Draining, Filling and Bleeding - 2.0L (303-03E, General Procedures).
   

2. 

   NOTE:Make sure that the windshield wiper motor is in the park position.
   Disconnect the battery ground cable.
   For additional information, refer to: Battery Disconnect (414-01, General Procedures).
   

3. Remove the engine upper cover.

4. Detach the brake fluid reservoir from the bulkhead extension panel.

5. Remove the windshield wiper arms.

6. Remove the cowl panel.
   1. Detach the cowl panel from the retaining clips.
   2. Remove the cowl panel by detaching it from the windshield glass lower weatherstrip.

7. Remove the bulkhead extension panel.
   1. Remove the bulkhead extension panel retaining screws.
   2. Detach the bulkhead extension panel from the retaining clips.

8. Disconnect the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) breather hose from the intake manifold PCV valve.
   • Press in the release clip.

9. Remove the turbocharger intake support bracket retaining bolt.

10. Raise and support the vehicle.

13. Vehicles with global closing, initialize the door window motors.
    For additional information, refer to: Door Window Motor Initialization (501-11, General Procedures).
