Exterior Lighting - Headlamp Mounting Bracket Repair Focus RS 2003 (09/2002-)
General Procedures

Renew

  1. Remove the headlamp.
    For additional information, refer to Remove the headlamp in this section.

  1. Remove the outer headlamp bracket.
    • Cut the bracket at the indicated line.

  1. Attach the outer headlamp bracket.
    • Insert a new bracket into the guide.

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:The hole for the bolt is already present and appears after cutting off the bracket.
    Attach a new headlamp bracket (cont.).

  1. Renew the center headlamp bracket.
    • Cut off the old bracket in such a way that the cut edge forms a level surface with the upper edge of the hole.

  1. Attach the center headlamp bracket.

  1. Renew the inner headlamp bracket.
    • Cut off the bracket as shown in the diagram.

  1. Attach the inner headlamp bracket.
    • Secure the bracket with a screw.
  1. Fit the headlamp assembly.
  1. Align the headlamps and check their operation.
