| Description and Operation The daytime running lamps (DRL) system contains the following: - A relay (K5) located in the battery junction box (BJB).
- A wire resistance integrated into the headlamp wiring.
The daytime running lamps (DRL) system switches on the low beams with reduced intensity when the following conditions apply: - Ignition is switched on.
- Headlamps are switched off.
Once the ignition is switched on, the daytime running lamps will illuminate. |
