Accessory Drive - Power Steering Pump Belt—1.8L Diesel Mondeo 1997 (08/1996-09/2000)
Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Remove the accessory drive belt.
    For additional information, refer to Accessory Drive Belt - Vehicles with Diesel Engine in this section.

  1. Remove the drive belt cover.

  1. De-tension the drive belt.
    1. Slacken the pump adjustment locking bolt.
    1. De-tension the belt with the adjusting bolt.
  1. Lift the drive belt over the pulleys and remove.

Installation

  1. Install the drive belt over the pulleys.
  1. Adjust the drive belt.

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
