Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Evacuate the fuel lines. For additional information, refer to Section  310-00A Fuel System - General Information / 310-00B Fuel System - General Information.
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to Section  100-02 Jacking and Lifting.
  1. WARNING:
    WARNING:Allow the vehicle to stand for five minutes to allow the LPG to disperse. Failure to follow this instruction may result in personal injury.
    Loosen the fuel filter depressurizing plug slowly, to release the small amount of captive LPG from the fuel filter housing and filler pipe.
  1. Tighten the fuel filter depressurizing plug.

  1. Disconnect the fuel lines.

  1. Remove the fuel filter.

Installation
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  1. Prime the fuel filter by re-fuelling the fuel tank.
  1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position and carry out a fuel system leak test. For additional information, refer to Section  310-00A Fuel System - General Information / 310-00B Fuel System - General Information.
