In-vehicle Repair Removal NOTE:This procedure covers all solenoids contained in the main control valve body. | -
Disconnect the shift solenoid electrical connectors. - Disconnect the shift solenoid A electrical connector (colored brown).
- Disconnect the torque converter clutch (TCC) solenoid electrical connector (colored white).
- Disconnect the reduction solenoid electrical connector (colored white).
- Disconnect the low clutch timing solenoid electrical connector (colored white).
- Disconnect the shift solenoid B electrical connector (colored brown).
- Disconnect the shift solenoid C electrical connector (colored green).
- Disconnect the second, third and fourth gear brake duty solenoid electrical connector (colored white).
- Disconnect the neutral shift solenoid electrical connector (colored black).
- Disconnect the electronic pressure control (EPC) solenoid electrical connector (colored green).

Remove the shift solenoid A. | | -
Remove the reduction timing solenoid. - Remove the TCC solenoid retaining bracket.

Remove the low clutch timing solenoid. | | -
Remove the shift solenoid B. | | -
Remove the shift solenoid C. | | -
Remove the second, third and fourth gear brake duty solenoid. | | -
Remove the neutral shift solenoid. - Remove the second, third and fourth gear brake duty solenoid bracket.

NOTE:Install all new components supplied with the service kit. To install, reverse the removal procedure. | | |
