Press
Remove

1. Remove the spacer ring from the wheel hub.

2. Ball bearing
3. Wheel hub
4. Oil seal

NOTE:

The wheel hub must not be resting on the wheel studs while the bearing is being driven out.

2. Remove the ball bearing.
1. Support the wheel hub.
2. Drive out the ball bearing with a suitable drift or length of tube.

3. Drive out the oil seal.
• Support the wheel hub.
• Use a drift or suitable length of tube to drive out the oil seal.
Install

4. Preparatory measures
• Clean the wheel hub thoroughly.
• Remove any burring.
• Grease the new ball bearing.

2. Ball bearing
3. Wheel hub
4. Oil seal

5. Press in the ball bearing.
1. Support the wheel hub.
   Insert the ball bearing in the wheel hub with the closed side upwards.
2. Press in the ball bearing as far as it will go.

NOTE:

The wheel studs must be free.

6. Fit the oil seal.
1. Support the wheel hub.
2. Press in the oil seal as far as it will go.
• The sealing lip faces upwards.
• Insert the spacer ring.
