Removal and Installation
Remove

WARNING:

Do not smoke or carry lighted tobacco or open flame of any type when working on or near any fuel related components. Highly flammable vapors are always present and may ignite. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.

WARNING:

This procedure involves fuel handling. Be prepared for fuel spillage at all times and always observe fuel handling precautions. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.

WARNING:

The fuel pressure must be released before attempting any repairs. Failure to follow this instruction may result in personal injury.

CAUTION:

All disconnected lines and unions must be protected to prevent contamination.

CAUTION:

Disconnect the battery ground cable.

1. Vent the fuel lines. For additional information refer to the procedure in this section: Fuel line venting.

2. Disconnect the fuel supply line. Discard the aluminium sealing washer.
3. Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to section 01‐03.

4. Disconnect the rigid fuel lines from the fuel line junction block under the vehicle.

5. Disconnect the LPG pressure sensor electrical connector.

6. Remove the flexible hoses and fuel line junction block (one nut).
7. Remove the flexible hoses from the fuel line junction block.
Install

NOTE:

Install a new aluminium sealing washer.

8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

9. Switch the ignition ON and carry out a leak test. For additional information refer to Leak Test in this section.
