Removal and Installation

WARNING:

Do not smoke or carry lighted tobacco or open flame of any type when working on or near any fuel related components. Highly flammable vapors are always present and may ignite. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.

WARNING:

This procedure involves fuel handling. Be prepared for fuel spillage at all times and always observe fuel handling precautions. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.

NOTE:

The fuel lines must never be needlessly vented. Whenever possible the vehicle should be driven until the LPG supply is depleted and the vehicle switches to petrol.

1. Remove fuse 2 from the auxiliary electrical box (this will isolate the fuel tank solenoid).

2. Remove the vent cap from underneath the vehicle.

3. Open the tap slowly to allow the small amount of LPG in the fuel lines to be vented.
4. Return tap to the run position.
5. Install the vent cap.

WARNING:

Allow the vehicle to stand for five minutes to allow the LPG to disperse. Failure to follow this instruction may result in personal injury.

6. Install fuse 2 in the auxiliary electrical box.
