Ignition switch in position 0.

Disconnect fuse F2.24 (20 A) (CJB).

CHECK fuse F2.24 (20 A) (CJB).

Is the fuse OK?
Yes
No
INSTALL a new fuse F2.24 (20 A) (CJB) and TEST the system for normal operation. If the fuse blows again, LOCATE and REPAIR the short to ground by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
A2: CHECK THE VOLTAGE AT FUSE F2.24 (CJB)

Connect fuse F2.24 (20 A) (CJB).

Ignition switch in position II.

Measure the voltage between fuse F2.24 (CJB) and ground.

Is battery voltage indicated?
Yes
No
LOCATE and REPAIR the open in the power supply of fuse F2.24 (20 A) (CJB). If necessary check the CJB and INSTALL a new one. TEST the system for normal operation.
A3: CHECK THE POWER SUPPLY OF THE HEADLAMP SWITCH FOR OPEN

Disconnect headlamp switch from connector C120.

Measure the voltage between headlamp switch, connector C120, pin 11, circuit 29-DD1 (OG/YE), wiring harness side and ground.

Is battery voltage indicated?
Yes
INSTALL a new headlamp switch. TEST the system for normal operation.
No
LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit between fuse F2.24 (CJB) and headlamp switch by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.

Is a rear lamp and/or side marker lamp and/or license plate lamp inoperative?
Yes
- Rear parking lamp, left-hand side: GO to B5.
- Rear parking lamp, right-hand side: GO to B7.
- Both rear lamps and all side marker lamps rear and middle (chassis cab): LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit 29S-LF5A (OG/GN) or 29S-LF29 (OG/YE) between splice S1039 and splice S97 by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
- Both rear lamps, both parking lamps (headlamps) and all side marker lamps (the roof marker lamps are OK) (chassis cab): LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit 29S-LF5A(C) (OG/BU) between splice S1038 and splice S1039 by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
- Side marker lamp(s) rear and middle (chassis cab): GO to B9.
- Both license plate lamps: GO to B11.
- Both license plate lamps and the rear lamp, left-hand side: LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit 31-DA6 (BK), between splice S113 and ground G11 by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
- One license plate lamp (chassis cab): GO to B15.
- One license plate lamp (van, bus, combi): GO to B17.
No
- All parking lamps are inoperative (the license plate lamps are OK): GO to B2.
- Both parking lamps (headlamps) (the rear lamps are OK) (van, bus, combi): LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit 29S-LF5A (OG/BU) between splice S1038 and splice S1039 by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
- One parking lamp (headlamp) is inoperative: GO to B19.
- One side marker/turn signal lamp is inoperative: GO to B21.
- The parking lamp (headlamp) and the side marker/turn signal lamp, left-hand side are inoperative: LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit 29S-LF7(A) (OG/BU) between splice S1039 and splice S1043 by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
- The parking lamp (headlamp) and the side marker/turn signal lamp, right-hand side are inoperative: LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit 29S-LF7A (OG/BU) or 29S-LF16 (OG/GN) between splice S1039 and S1114 by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
- One roof marker lamp is inoperative (chassis cab): GO to B23.
B2: CHECK FUSE F2.9 (CJB)

Disconnect fuse F2.9 (15 A) (CJB).

CHECK fuse F2.9 (15 A) (CJB).

Is the fuse OK?
Yes
No
INSTALL a new fuse F2.9 (15 A) (CJB) and TEST the system for normal operation. If the fuse blows again, LOCATE and REPAIR the short to ground by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
B3: CHECK THE VOLTAGE AT FUSE F2.9 (CJB)

TURN ON the parking lamps.

Connect fuse F2.9 (15 A) (CJB).

Measure the voltage between fuse F2.9 (15 A) (CJB) and ground.

Is battery voltage indicated?
Yes
LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit 29S-LF5A(B) (OG/BU) between fuse F2.9 (CJB) and splice S1038 by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
No
B4: CHECK THE POWER SUPPLY OF FUSE F2.9 (CJB) FOR OPEN

Disconnect headlamp switch from connector C120.

Measure the resistance between headlamp switch, connector C120, pin 13, circuit 29S-DA1 (OG/YE), wiring harness side and fuse F2.9 (CJB).

Is the resistance less than 2 ohms?
Yes
INSTALL a new headlamp switch. TEST the system for normal operation.
No
LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit between headlamp switch and fuse F2.9 (CJB) by using the wiring diagrams. If necessary check the CJB and INSTALL a new one. TEST the system for normal operation.
B5: CHECK THE VOLTAGE AT THE REAR LAMP ASSEMBLY, LEFT-HAND SIDE

Disconnect rear lamp assembly, left-hand side from.
  • van, bus, combi: connector C121
  • chassis cab: connector C1079

TURN ON the parking lamps.

Measure the voltage between rear lamp assembly, left-hand side:
  • Van, bus, combi: connector C121, pin 3, circuit 29S-LF23 (OG), wiring harness side and ground.
  • Chassis cab: connector C1079, pin 3, circuit 29S-LF23 (OG), wiring harness side and ground.

Is battery voltage indicated?
Yes
No
- Van, bus, combi: LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit between splice S1038 and rear lamp assembly by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
- Chassis cab: LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit between splice S97 and rear lamp assembly by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
B6: CHECK THE GROUND SUPPLY OF THE REAR LAMP ASSEMBLY, LEFT-HAND SIDE

TURN OFF the parking lamps.

Measure the resistance between rear lamp assembly, left-hand side:
  • Van, bus, combi: connector C121, pin 5, circuit 31-LF23 (BK), wiring harness side and ground.
  • Chassis cab: connector C1079, pin 1, circuit 31-LF23 (BK), wiring harness side and ground.

Is the resistance less than 2 ohms?
Yes
CHECK the rear lamp assembly, left-hand side. If necessary INSTALL a new one. TEST the system for normal operation.
No
- Van, bus, combi: LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit between rear lamp assembly and splice S113 by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
- Chassis cab: LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit between rear lamp assembly and splice S93 by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
B7: CHECK THE VOLTAGE AT THE REAR LAMP ASSEMBLY, RIGHT-HAND SIDE

Disconnect rear lamp assembly, right-hand side from.
  • van, bus, combi: connector C124
  • chassis cab: connector C1080

TURN ON the parking lamps.

Measure the voltage between rear lamp assembly, right-hand side:
  • Van, bus, combi: connector C124, pin 3, circuit 29S-LF24 (OG/BK), wiring harness side and ground.
  • Chassis cab: connector C1080, pin 3, circuit 29S-LF24 (OG/BK), wiring harness side and ground.

Is battery voltage indicated?
Yes
No
- Van, bus, combi: LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit between splice S1038 and rear lamp assembly by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
- Chassis cab: LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit between splice S97 and rear lamp assembly by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
B8: CHECK THE GROUND SUPPLY OF THE REAR LAMP ASSEMBLY, RIGHT-HAND SIDE

TURN OFF the parking lamps.

Measure the resistance between rear lamp assembly, right-hand side:
  • Van, bus, combi: connector C124, pin 5, circuit 31-LF24 (BK), wiring harness side and ground.
  • Chassis cab: connector C1080, pin 1, circuit 31-LF24 (BK), wiring harness side and ground.

Is the resistance less than 2 ohms?
Yes
CHECK the rear lamp assembly. If necessary INSTALL a new one. TEST the system for normal operation.
No
- Van, bus, combi: LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit between rear lamp assembly and splice S22 by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
- Chassis cab: LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit between rear lamp assembly and splice S92 by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
B9: CHECK THE VOLTAGE AT THE SIDE MARKER LAMP CONCERNED

Disconnect side marker lamp from.
  • left-hand side middle: connector C1097
  • left-hand side rear: connector C1099
  • right-hand side middle: connector C1098
  • right-hand side rear: connector C1100

TURN ON the parking lamps.

Measure the voltage between side marker lamp:
  • left-hand side middle: connector C1097, pin 2, circuit 29S-LF19 (OG/BU), wiring harness side and ground.
  • left-hand side rear: connector C1099, pin 2, circuit 29S-LF19 (OG/BU), wiring harness side and ground.
  • right-hand side middle: connector C1098, pin 2, circuit 29S-LF19B (OG/BU), wiring harness side and ground.
  • right-hand side rear: connector C1100, pin 2, circuit 29S-LF19B (OG/BU), wiring harness side and ground.

Is battery voltage indicated?
Yes
No
- One side marker lamp rear is inoperative: LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit between splice S1111 and the side marker lamp concerned by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
- One side marker lamp middle is inoperative: LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit between splice S1109 and the side marker lamp concerned by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
- Both side marker lamps rear are inoperative: LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit 29S-LF5(B/C) (OG/BU) between splice S97 and splice S1111 by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
- Both side marker lamps middle are inoperative: LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit 29S-LF5B (OG/BU) between splice S97 and splice S1109 by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
B10: CHECK THE GROUND SUPPLY OF THE SIDE MARKER LAMP CONCERNED

TURN OFF the parking lamps.

Measure the resistance between side marker lamp:
  • left-hand side middle: connector C1097, pin 1, circuit 31-LF19 (BK), wiring harness side and ground.
  • left-hand side rear: connector C1099, pin 1, circuit 31-LF19 (BK), wiring harness side and ground.
  • right-hand side middle: connector C1098, pin 1, circuit 31-LF19B (BK), wiring harness side and ground.
  • right-hand side rear: connector C1100, pin 1, circuit 31-LF19B (BK), wiring harness side and ground.

Is the resistance less than 2 ohms?
Yes
CHECK the side marker lamp concerned. If necessary INSTALL a new one. TEST the system for normal operation.
No
- One side marker lamp rear is inoperative: LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit between side marker lamp rear and splice S1112 by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
- One side marker lamp middle is inoperative: LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit between side marker lamp middle and splice S1110 by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
- Both side marker lamps rear are inoperative: LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit 31-LF19(A) (BK) between splice S1112 and splice S92 by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
- Both side marker lamps middle are inoperative: LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit 31-LF19A (BK) or 31-LF10 (BK) between splice S1110 and splice S92 by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
B11: CHECK FUSE F2.6 (CJB)

Disconnect fuse F2.6 (5 A) (CJB).

CHECK fuse F2.6 (5 A) (CJB).

Is the fuse OK?
Yes
No
INSTALL a new fuse F2.6 (5 A) (CJB) and TEST the system for normal operation. If the fuse blows again, LOCATE and REPAIR the short to ground by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
B12: CHECK THE VOLTAGE AT FUSE F2.6 (CJB)

Connect fuse F2.6 (5 A) (CJB).

TURN ON the parking lamps.
3
Measure the voltage between fuse F2.6 (5 A) (CJB) and ground.

Is battery voltage indicated?
Yes
- Chassis cab: LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit 29S-LF12 (OG/BK) or 29S-LF5(C/E/F) (OG/BU) between fuse F2.6 (CJB) and splice S96 by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
- Van, bus, combi: GO to B14.
No
B13: CHECK THE HEADLAMP SWITCH

Disconnect headlamp switch from connector C120.

Connect a fused jumper wire (20 A) at the headlamp switch, connector C120, between pin 11, circuit 29-DD1 (OG/YE) and pin 16, circuit 29S-DA2 (OG/BU), wiring harness side.

Do the license plate lamps illuminate?
Yes
INSTALL a new headlamp switch. TEST the system for normal operation.
No
LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit between headlamp switch and fuse F2.6 (CJB) by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
B14: CHECK THE VOLTAGE AT THE LICENSE PLATE LAMP

Disconnect license plate lamp from.
  • left-hand side, vehicles with rear doors: connector C123
  • left-hand side, vehicles with tailgate: connector C1091

TURN ON the parking lamps.

Vehicles with rear doors: Measure the voltage between license plate lamp, left-hand side, connector C123, pin 1, circuit 29S-LF21 (OG/BK), wiring harness side and ground.

Vehicles with tailgate: Measure the voltage between license plate lamp, left-hand side, connector C1091, pin 1, circuit 29S-LF21 (OG/BK), wiring harness side and ground.

Is battery voltage indicated?
Yes
Both license plate lamps are inoperative: LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit 31-DA6(C) (BK) between splice S40 and splice S113 by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
No
LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit 29S-LF5(B/C/E) (OG/BU) between fuse F2.6 (CJB) and splice S1035 by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
B15: CHECK THE VOLTAGE AT THE LICENSE PLATE LAMP

Disconnect license plate lamp from.
  • left-hand side: connector C123
  • right-hand side: connector C122

TURN ON the parking lamps.

Measure the voltage between license plate lamp:
  • left-hand side: connector C123, pin 1, circuit 29S-LF22 (OG/BK), wiring harness side and ground.
  • right-hand side: connector C122, pin 1, circuit 29S-LF21 (OG/BK), wiring harness side and ground.

Is battery voltage indicated?
Yes
No
LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit between the license plate lamp concerned and splice S96 by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
B16: CHECK THE GROUND SUPPLY OF THE LICENSE PLATE LAMP

TURN ON the parking lamps.

Measure the voltage at the license plate lamp:
  • left-hand side: connector C123, between pin 1, circuit 29S-LF22 (OG/BK) and pin 2, circuit 31-LF22 (BK), wiring harness side.
  • right-hand side: connector C122, between pin 1, circuit 29S-LF21 (OG/BK) and pin 2, circuit 31-LF21 (BK), wiring harness side.

Is battery voltage indicated?
Yes
CHECK the license plate lamp concerned. If necessary INSTALL a new one. TEST the system for normal operation.
No
- Left-hand side: LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit between license plate lamp and splice S93 by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
- Right-hand side: LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit between license plate lamp and splice S92 by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
B17: CHECK THE VOLTAGE AT THE LICENSE PLATE LAMP CONCERNED

Disconnect license plate lamp from.
  • left-hand side, vehicles with rear doors: connector C123
  • left-hand side, vehicles with tailgate: connector C1091
  • right-hand side, vehicles with rear doors: connector C122
  • right-hand side, vehicles with tailgate: connector C1092

TURN ON the parking lamps.

Vehicles with rear doors: Measure the voltage between license plate lamp:
  • left-hand side: connector C123, pin 1, circuit 29S-LF21 (OG/BK), wiring harness side and ground.
  • right-hand side: connector C122, pin 1, circuit 29S-LF22 (OG/BK), wiring harness side and ground.

Vehicles with tailgate: Measure the voltage between license plate lamp:
  • left-hand side: connector C1091, pin 1, circuit 29S-LF21 (OG/BK), wiring harness side and ground.
  • right-hand side: connector C1092, pin 1, circuit 29S-LF22 (OG/BK), wiring harness side and ground.

Is battery voltage indicated?
Yes
No
LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit between splice S1035 and the license plate lamp concerned by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
B18: CHECK THE GROUND SUPPLY OF THE LICENSE PLATE LAMP

TURN OFF the parking lamps.

Vehicles with rear doors: Measure the resistance between license plate lamp:
  • left-hand side: connector C123, pin 2, circuit 31-LF21 (BK), wiring harness side and ground.
  • right-hand side: connector C122, pin 2, circuit 31-LF22 (BK), wiring harness side and ground.

Vehicles with tailgate: Measure the resistance between license plate lamp:
  • left-hand side: connector C1091, pin 2, circuit 31-LF21 (BK), wiring harness side and ground.
  • right-hand side: connector C1092, pin 2, circuit 31-LF22 (BK), wiring harness side and ground.

Is the resistance less than 2 ohms?
Yes
CHECK the license plate lamp concerned. If necessary INSTALL a new one. TEST the system for normal operation.
No
LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit between license plate lamp and splice S40 by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
B19: CHECK THE VOLTAGE AT THE HEADLAMP

Disconnect headlamp from.
  • left-hand side: connector C119
  • right-hand side: connector C118

TURN ON the parking lamps.

Measure the voltage between headlamp:
  • left-hand side: connector C119, pin 3, circuit 29S-LF7 (OG/BU), wiring harness side and ground.
  • right-hand side, with side marker/turn signal lamp: connector C118, pin 3, circuit 29S-LF7 (OG/BU), wiring harness side and ground.
  • right-hand side, all others: connector C118, pin 3, circuit 29S-LF16 (OG/GN), wiring harness side and ground.

Is battery voltage indicated?
Yes
No
- Vehicles without side marker/turn signal lamp: LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit between splice S1039 and the headlamp concerned by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
- Vehicles with side marker/turn signal lamp, left-hand side: LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit between splice S1043 and headlamp by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
- Vehicles with side marker/turn signal lamp, right-hand side: LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit between splice S1114 and headlamp by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
B20: CHECK THE GROUND SUPPLY OF THE HEADLAMP

TURN OFF the parking lamps.

Measure the resistance between headlamp:
  • left-hand side: connector C119, pin 4, circuit 31-LE31 (BK), wiring harness side and ground.
  • right-hand side, with side marker/turn signal lamp: connector C118, pin 4, circuit 31-LE31 (BK), wiring harness side and ground.
  • right-hand side: connector C118, pin 4, circuit 31-LE30 (BK), wiring harness side and ground.

Is the resistance less than 2 ohms?
Yes
CHECK the headlamp concerned. If necessary INSTALL a new one. TEST the system for normal operation.
No
- Left-hand side: LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit between headlamp and splice S223 by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
- Right-hand side: LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit between headlamp and splice S300 by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
B21: CHECK THE VOLTAGE AT THE SIDE MARKER/TURN SIGNAL LAMP

Disconnect side marker/turn signal lamp from.
  • left-hand side: connector C1049
  • right-hand side: connector C1114

TURN ON the parking lamps.

Measure the voltage between side marker/turn signal lamp:
  • left-hand side: connector C1049, pin 3, circuit 29S-LF7B (OG/BU), wiring harness side and ground.
  • right-hand side: connector C1114, pin 3, circuit 29S-LF7B (OG/BU), wiring harness side and ground.

Is battery voltage indicated?
Yes
No
- Left-hand side: LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit between splice S1043 and side marker/turn signal lamp by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
- Right-hand side: LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit between splice S1114 and side marker/turn signal lamp by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
B22: CHECK THE GROUND SUPPLY OF THE SIDE MARKER/TURN SIGNAL LAMP

TURN OFF the parking lamps.

Measure the resistance between side marker/turn signal lamp:
  • left-hand side: connector C1049, pin 2, circuit 31-LG11 (BK), wiring harness side and ground.
  • right-hand side: connector C1114, pin 2, circuit 31-LG11 (BK), wiring harness side and ground.

Is the resistance less than 2 ohms?
Yes
CHECK the park/turn signal lamp concerned. If necessary INSTALL a new one. TEST the system for normal operation.
No

B23: CHECK THE VOLTAGE AT THE ROOF MARKER LAMP

Disconnect roof marker lamp from.
  • left-hand side: connector C1078
  • right-hand side: connector C1077

TURN ON the parking lamps.

Measure the voltage between roof marker lamp:
  • left-hand side: connector C1078, pin 1, circuit 29S-LF30 (OG), wiring harness side and ground.
  • right-hand side: connector C1077, pin 1, circuit 29S-LF30 (OG) or 29S-LF31 (OG/WH), wiring harness side and ground.

Is battery voltage indicated?
Yes
No
LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit between splice S1038 and the roof marker lamp concerned by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
B24: CHECK THE GROUND SUPPLY OF THE ROOF MARKER LAMP

Measure the resistance between roof marker lamp:
  • left-hand side: connector C1078, pin 2, circuit 31-LF30 (BK/OG), wiring harness side and ground.
  • right-hand side: connector C1077, pin 2, circuit 31-LF30 (BK/OG), wiring harness side and ground.

Is the resistance less than 2 ohms?
Yes
CHECK the roof marker lamp concerned: If necessary INSTALL a new one. TEST the system for normal operation.
No
- Roof marker lamp, left-hand side: LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit between roof marker lamp and splice S222 by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.
- Roof marker lamp, right-hand side: LOCATE and REPAIR the open circuit between roof marker lamp and splice S1022 by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation.

- Chassis cab: LOCATE and REPAIR the short to power in the circuit(s) connected with splices S257 and S96 by using the wiring diagrams. If necessary check the CJB and INSTALL a new one. TEST the system for normal operation. If the vehicle is equipped with a trailer socket, check the trailer socket. TEST the system for normal operation.
No
- No lamp is illuminated: GO to C2.
- Van, bus, combi: The parking lamps are on continuously: LOCATE and REPAIR the short to power in the circuits connected with splices S1038 and S1039 by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation. If the vehicle is equipped with a trailer socket, check the trailer socket. TEST the system for normal operation.
- Chassis cab: The parking lamps are on continuously: LOCATE and REPAIR the short to power in the circuits connected with splices S1038, S1039 and S1043, S1114 (with side marker/turn signal lamps) by using the wiring diagrams. TEST the system for normal operation. If the vehicle is equipped with a trailer socket, check the trailer socket. TEST the system for normal operation.
C2: NARROW DOWN THE LOCATION OF THE SHORT TO POWER

Measure the voltage between headlamp switch, connector C120, pin 13, circuit 29S-DA1 (OG/YE), wiring harness side and ground.

LOCATE and REPAIR the short to power in the circuit between headlamp switch and fuse F2.9 (CJB) by using the wiring diagrams. If necessary check the CJB and INSTALL a new one. TEST the system for normal operation.

Measure the voltage between headlamp switch, connector C120, pin 16, circuit 29S-DA2 (OG/BU), wiring harness side and ground.

LOCATE and REPAIR the short to power in the circuit between headlamp switch and fuse F2.6 (CJB) by using the wiring diagrams. If necessary check the CJB and INSTALL a new one. TEST the system for normal operation.

- Vehicles without DRL: INSTALL a new headlamp switch. TEST the system for normal operation.
