Removal and Installation

Removal

NOTE:
NOTE:Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Make sure that the road wheels are in the straight ahead position.

  1. Torque: 12 Nm
  1. Raise and support the vehicle.
    Refer to: Lifting (100-02 Jacking and Lifting, Description and Operation).

  1. WARNING:
    WARNING:Make sure a new steering column flexible coupling nut and bolts are installed.
    1. Torque: 28 Nm
    1. Torque: 23 Nm

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
