Removal and Installation

Silicone Sealant

Removal
  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:The O-ring seal is to be reused unless damage.

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:The seal is to be reused unless damaged.

  1. Loosen the right-hand transmission retaining bolts by 5 turns.

  1. Loosen the left-hand transmission retaining bolts by 5 turns.

Installation
  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Only tighten the bolts finger tight at this stage.

  1. Torque: 10 Nm

  1. Torque: 25 Nm

  1. Torque: 40 Nm

  1. Torque: 40 Nm

  1. Torque: 40 Nm

  1. Torque: 25 Nm

  1. Torque: 10 Nm
  1. Fill the engine with engine oil.
    Refer to: Specifications (303-01A Engine - 2.3L Duratec-HE (MI4), Specifications).
    Material: Engine Oil - 5W-30
