Attach the belt tension gauge to the belt and measure the tension. Follow the gauge manufacturer's instructions.

Tension:

Used Belt: 390 - 540 N (40 - 55 kgf, 88 - 120 lbf)

New Belt: 980 - 1,030 N (90 - 105 kgf, 200 - 231 lbf)

NOTE:  If the belt is worn or damaged, replace it.
