Replace the valve, if necessary.

SOLENOID VALVE (ASV)

1.  

Disconnect the air supply valve connector.

Air Supply Valve Inspection

2.  

Measure the solenoid valve resistance with an ohmmeter.  The resistance should be 16.5-23.5 Ohms.

3.  

Apply 12 volts and a ground to the terminals of the solenoid valve.

4.  

Verify that the valve should click when voltage is applied.

5.  

Replace the solenoid valve, if necessary.

CAUTION:  Do not tamper with the adjusting screw.
