Liftgate Latch

REMOVAL

1. Remove the liftgate trim panel.
2. Remove the watershield.

3. Disconnect the liftgate latch cable.

Remove the bolt.

Remove the liftgate latch cable adjusting bracket from the latch remote control.

Remove the liftgate latch cable from the latch remote control.

NOTE:  Mark the position of the liftgate latch cable adjusting bracket before removing the bolt.

4. Release the liftgate latch cable locator.

5. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Release the electrical connector locator.
