Head restraint guide of the rear seat 1/3 section, right side: Removing and installing

t	Removing: → Anchor

t	Installing: → Anchor

Special tools and workshop equipment required

t	Hook -3438-

Removing

Note

t	When removal and installation the seats use suitable gloves in order to avoid soiling the upholstery.

t	The removal and installation procedures may need to be modified slightly depending on the equipment variants.

–	Press the key -2-.

–	Remove headrest -1-.

Caution

Perform the following sequences with great care in order not to damage the cover or the padding.

–	Insert the hooks -3438- in the position of the guide as shown in the figure and pull the guide upwards -arrow-.

Head restraint guide -1- without engaging to the height adjustment of the head restraint

Head restraint guide -1- with engaging to the height adjustment of the head restraint

Installing

Installation is carried out in reverse order. The following should be taken into account:

Note

t	If the securing lugs and tabs have been damaged on removing the headrest guides, the complete guides should be replaced.

t	Reinstall the guide in the same position.
