  Note
Removal and installation is described for the left rear seat. The removal and installation of the right seat is carried out respectively.
Removing
–  Push the left part of the rear seat to the front as far as possible.
–  Fold backrest down.
   
–  Undo the screw -6- and remove the spring element -7- from the slide piece -5-.
  Caution
The backrest must be folded forwards in order to release the spring elements -7-. The spring element is free of tension in this position.
–  Return the backrest to its correct position.
–  Unscrew the two nuts -2-.
–  Using a screwdriver, push the brace -1- upwards slightly and release the seat from the studs of the right seat rail -3-.
  Note
The brace -1- is not mounted on the right side of the rear seat.
–  Unscrew the two nuts -10-.
–  Using a screwdriver, push the brace -9- upwards slightly and release the seat from the studs of the left seat rail -8-.
  Note
The brace -9- is not mounted on the right side of the rear seat.
–  Pull the seat -4- forwards in order to remove it from the slide rail of the seat frame.

Installing
Installation is carried out in reverse order. The following should be taken into account:
–  Tighten bolt -6- to torque of 6 Nm.
