  Note!
To carry out this operation, the ground cable must be disconnected from the battery. It is best to check first whether there is a coded radio fitted, if so, check the security code beforehand.
–  Disconnect the ground from the battery.
–  Remove the lower linings from the steering column and the light switch.
–  Remove the packet holder and the footrest area from the driver side. → Bodywork, fitting work, interior; Rep. Gr.68
   
–  Remove the bolts holding the fuse holder and move upwards -arrow 1-.
–  Disconnect the cable harness and pull down -arrow 2-.
–  Tension the clutch cable and remove from the gearbox → Chapter.
–  Extract the connector of the brake light switch and release the cable from the fixing clip on the pedal unit.

–  Remove the protective plate of the pedal unit located next to the electrical connector support. Free the lip -1- and lift the plate upwards and out.

–  Cut the plastic flange holding the clutch cable to the pedal and release the cable -arrow-.

–  Extract the hexagonal bolt from the pedal shaft -1-.
–  Carefully pull out the pedal shaft -arrow 2-. At the same time fix the brake pedal in position with an M8 bolt or a punch on the right side -arrow 1-.
  Note!
Do not move the brake pedal or the steering column, which are loose once the pedal shaft has been removed.
–  Remove the clutch pedal.
