Valve guides: testing

Special tools and workshop equipment required

t	Universal support for dial gauge -T20020-

Test process

–	Fit a new valve in the guide. The end of the valve stem should be flush with the guide. Due to the different stem diameters, always fit the intake valves in intake guides and the exhaust valves in exhaust guides.

–	Measure the tilting play.

Wear limit: 0.8 mm
